Live Worthy: Paul’s Letter to the Philippians
We talk a lot about living for Jesus. But our talk often remains abstract, unapplied, and irrelevant. And for all the talk we often miss out on what Christ wants for us. We settle for less than his best when it comes to our spiritual lives, and we end up exhausted. What if it doesn’t have to be that way? What if it is actually possible to live a life that honors Christ and embodies his best? And what if it’s not just sometimes? What if it’s possible to experience his best all the time? Consistently. Comprehensively. Completely. What if it could really happen?
The good news is that scripture promises exactly that. God promises that we have all we need to live in a way that honors Christ to the glory of God. How do we get in on that? What does it look like? That will be the focus of a new sermon series called Live Worthy: Paul’s Letter to the Philippians beginning Sunday, September 14, at St. Mark UMC. Join us in VIVID at 9:30 am or in the Sanctuary Service at 10:30 am. See you there!
