One thing’s for sure. After Palm Sunday, there are no eggs left on the lawn at St. Mark
Church. A crowd of eagle-eyed young hunters cleaned up every shiny, plastic one of them at the church’s Easter hunt. Dozens of children showed up on April 9 to polish their egg hunting skills and hear the Easter story before the big day. They also stocked up on candy, cupcakes, sunshine and fun.
The families of St. Mark mingled with newcomers and visitors at the annual community
event featuring games and hundreds of eggs to find. Church volunteers doled out prizes
in tic tac toe, bowling, fishing and golf. Kids also marched for goodies in the cupcake
walk, decorated cookies and worked on Easter crafts. After a story session teaching the meaning of Easter, the kids headed for the lawn and the hunt was on! Click the video above for a peek at all the fun.
St. Mark hosts community events throughout the year. Be sure to drop by our fall
