Dr. Christine Cook
Pastor Chris came to St. Mark as pastor in 2018 having previously served at Hope Hull UMC in Hope Hull, AL. She and her husband David, also a local pastor, have four grown daughters. She is looking forward to discovering where God is guiding this congregation.
Dan joined the St Mark team in 2017. As Family Pastor, he takes the lead on all ministry for children and youth. His passion is to reach the next generation of children and students, and he’s committed to forming them with a message that is gospel-centered, culturally relevant, and life-giving.
Dr. Laura Moore
Laura became the choir director at St. Mark in 2012. She holds advanced degrees in piano and choral conducting. And when she’s not leading the music ministry at the Church, she’s serving as the award-winning Director of Choral Activities at the University of South Alabama. Her choirs perform regularly with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, and she’s active in musical theater. Her two sons are also accomplished musicians.

As Office Manager, Lacey’s smile is likely to be the first you’ll see when you walk in the door during the week. She joined the St. Mark team in 2017 and brings a wealth of experience in organizational leadership, which means she’s the one who keeps things running smoothly. Lacey takes the lead on church administration and communication. So if you need info on any of the ministries at St. Mark or would like to connect with a ministry leader, she can point you in the right direction.

Bethany has been with the St. Mark ELC since it opened in 2011. She came on board as Assistant Director and was promoted to Director in 2017. She puts her passion to work cultivating a place where children are nurtured and know they are loved. When she’s not working she’s running. Bethany has competed in sixteen half-marathons and has a personal goal to run in half-marathons in every state. She and her husband, Doug, have been married 27 years and have two children.

Pam joined the ELC team in 2012, and since then she’s worn a lot of hats. After serving as a classroom teacher, she became the ELC Office Manager in 2015 and then Assistant Director in 2017. This range of experience makes her invaluable. She and her husband, Barry, have two daughters. And when they travel, they love to go to Disney World.
