Laura Moore, Choir Director
Laura became the choir director at St. Mark in 2012. She holds advanced degrees in piano and choral conducting. And when she’s not leading the music ministry at the Church, she’s serving as the award-winning chair of the Music Department at the University of South Alabama. Her choirs perform regularly with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra, and she’s active in musical theater. Her two sons are also accomplished musicians.
Sandi Christian, Children’s Director
Sandi Christian serves as the children’s director and assists with the youth group. She is a graduate of the University of Mobile where she earned her degree in elementary education. Sandi has been teaching for the past 23 years, and currently teaches third grade at Semmes Elementary. She is the proud aunt of Summer who is a junior honors student at Spring Hill College. Prior to joining St. Mark, she served as youth director at Chickasaw UMC. Sandi believes we have a wonderful group of children, parents, and volunteers, and is grateful for support the children’s ministry receives from our church family. She feels blessed to be part of such an awesome church. Sandi enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and taking her puppy to the dog park.
