Rev. Tara Chamblee

     Since joining the St. Mark family in July of 2021, Tara has continued the great tradition of St Mark in serving the community, building relationships, and creating opportunities to grow in discipleship of Jesus Christ. She is passionate about missions, loves to gather with God's people, and has a real heart for being a servant.


     Tara and her husband Bradley, who is also a pastor in the local area, have two children. James and Anna are both active within the life of the church. While balancing life as a pastor, a wife, and a mother, Tara loves Braves baseball, Auburn Football, and taking trips to the beach.

Sandi Christian  -  Children's Director

     Sandi Christian serves as the children’s director and assists with the youth group. She is a graduate of the University of Mobile where she earned her degree in elementary education. Sandi has been teaching for the past 23 years, and currently teaches third grade at Semmes Elementary. Prior to joining St. Mark, she served as youth director at Chickasaw UMC. 

     Sandi believes we have a wonderful group of children, parents, and volunteers, and is grateful for support the children’s ministry receives from our church family. She feels blessed to be part of such an awesome church. Sandi enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and taking her puppy to the dog park.

Pam Murphy  -  Director of ELC

     Pam joined the ELC team in 2012, and since then she’s worn a lot of hats. After serving as a classroom teacher, she became the ELC Office Manager in 2015,  Assistant Director in 2017, and then Director in 2019. This range of experience makes her invaluable. She and her husband, Barry, have two daughters. And when they travel, they love to go to Disney World.


Billie Turner-  Office Administrator

Billie has over 20 years experience in this position and the last 14 has been in church administration. She and husband Johnny have 3 children & 3 grandchildren.  Her goal is to help all of those God puts in her path to grow closer to him. In the past she has led youth, young adults & missions along with other various ministries. Her passion at this time is the Homeless Ministry. One of her favorite scriptures she tries to live by is Matthew 25:40 "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
